- Strong salesmanship qualities and proven success in meeting regular targets.
- Full understanding of event sales cycle is an advantage, but not essential.
- Excellent interpersonal skills.
- Superb team player capable of creating an environment of camaraderie around them.
- Excellent time management and capability of resolving problems that arise very quickly and efficiently.
- Must be driven by personally achieving targets and also hitting targets as part of a team.
- Able to bring new ideas to the table and innovative thinking, including potential new revenue streams.
- Ability to work under pressure and be flexible as part of a small team.
- Ability to filter information and assess the priorities effectively.
- Attention to details and deadlines essential.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills and ability to professionally represent the company.
- Must feel comfortable communicating with and selling to people at very senior level.
- Willing to travel extensively and globally as required.
- Must be proficient with email applications, diary management and IT applications including Word and Excel.
- Specific industry and market knowledge (luxury, travel and events) will be highly advantageous.
