As part of our fast-moving, fast-thinking team, you’ll be helping us deliver exceptional experiences across We Are Africa and Do Not Disturb, working at the cutting edge of luxury travel events.

Who we’re looking for:
We’re searching for a proactive and relationship-driven Sales Executive to help us recruit and manage world-class buyers (Travel Agents/ Travel Designers) for our events. This role is central to building strong connections with senior travel professionals, ensuring they have a seamless, inspiring experience from invitation to on-site delivery.

You’ll thrive in a fast-paced, target-driven environment, love engaging with people, and have a sharp eye for detail. This role is perfect for someone who wants to pursue a career in sales & account management, grow their career in luxury travel events and play a pivotal part in shaping our buyer communities.

What you’ll do:

• Recruit and manage top buyers for We Are Africa and Do Not Disturb events.

• Build and nurture trusted relationships with senior travel professionals.

• Generate new leads and process applications to maintain a high-calibre community.

• Support buyer logistics, including registration, travel, and appointment scheduling.

• Provide clear reporting on recruitment progress and pipeline health.

• Contribute on-site at our live events, ensuring smooth buyer delivery and follow-up.

• Research emerging markets and competitor events to inform recruitment strategy.

• Stay up to date with travel industry trends to shape future buyer programmes.

What you’ll bring:

• 1–2 years’ experience in luxury travel, hospitality, events, or sales.

• Proven ability to hit targets in a fast-paced environment.

• Familiarity with CRM/Event Management systems (Salesforce/Certain preferred).

• Excellent communication and client-facing skills.

• Strong organisation, detail orientation, and time management.

• A proactive, solutions-focused mindset and willingness to travel internationally.

Position Type: Permanent, with a 4-day working week. Our hybrid model includes 3 days in the office (located in Cape Town), 1 day working from home, and every Friday as a non-working day as standard.
