The role:
We’re looking for a Content Executive to play a pivotal role in shaping and executing the marketing content that drives the success of Further East (https://furthereast.co/). Working closely with the Marketing Manager, you’ll take ownership of the entire content process—from ideation and writing copy, to delivering compelling emails, social posts, and web content.
You’ll collaborate with our creative and operations teams to produce high-quality, brand-driven content that resonates with our B2B audience. Whether it’s crafting sales materials, managing campaigns, or tracking results, your work will be at the heart of our broader marketing strategy.
In this role, you’ll need a creative mindset and strong attention to detail to ensure all content is engaging, impactful, and aligned with our brand tone. Also excellent organisational skills to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines. As a confident proofreader, you will ensure accuracy and consistency across all communications. To be successful you will be have exceptional communication and teamwork skills to align with internal stakeholders and deliver top-notch results.
What you will do:
- Develop creative content and multimedia ideas to enhance social media content and maintain a consistent content calendar for review with the Marketing Manager.
- Generate ideas for brand campaigns across multiple platforms, including digital, multimedia, print, and experiential.
- Write and proof-read creative copy for brand, marketing, and sales communications, such as emails, social media posts, PDFs/brochures, and website updates.
- Ensure the website is updated through WordPress during event and campaign cycles, liaising with the digital team when necessary.
- Utilise Salesforce and Pardot for campaign creation, segmentation, and distributing mailers to the correct database segments.
- Maintain consistency in brand tone of voice and narrative across all touchpoints.
- Build and send marketing emails on Pardot, collaborating with the design team to meet deadlines and ensure content is ready for approval by the Marketing Manager and Event Director.
- Provide administrative support, including creating forms, surveys, and managing pre/post-tour submissions and community projects.
- Maintain and grow the online community across social channels, responding to queries and leads on Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, and YouTube.
- Collaborate with sales, creative, and operations teams on briefs that align with business goals and target the relevant audience.
- Prepare regular reports on marketing performance, offering insights and recommendations for improvement.
- Support research and production of the annual marketing plan, helping to achieve the brand’s strategic goals.
- Build strong internal relationships with sales, operations, creative, and buyer teams to understand client behaviour and ensure effective campaign delivery.
What you will need:
- Impeccable command of the English language and a degree in a relevant field (English or Marketing preferred but not essential).
- Minimum 2 years' experience working on a strong brand as part of a Marketing or Media team.
- Proficiency with social media channels including Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, and YouTube.
- Proficient using Pardot and WordPress is advantageous, but experience and understanding of similar platforms is acceptable.
- Passion for travel and knowledge of the events industry is a plus.
- Demonstrable experience in generating innovative, fit-to-brief creative ideas and copy while displaying a thorough understanding of brand tone and narrative.
- Demonstrable experience maintaining excellent internal communication to manage expectations and competing timelines - highly organised.
- Highly creative and imaginative.
- Excellent interpersonal skills and a clear, confident communicator.
- Ability to work to multiple deadlines and adapt to fast-changing environments to achieve marketing objectives.

Position Type: Permanent, with a 4-day working week. Our hybrid model includes 3 days in the office (located in Shepherd's Bush), 1 day working from home, and every Friday as a non-working day as standard.
